the extra L3 cache per core and hyper threading (depending on the game and/or program you are using) would be worth it to me. That would equal about 130 usd (cheaper than a new I5), and a friend of mine in germany sent me a link to the eu amazon where they are going for around 213-280 eur.

 

Sounds like a winner to me as long as you are not expecting huge improvements from this upgrade.

Oke i had a lot of problems latly with my bottleneck around my 3570 i5 and my r9 290 no sorry it's nothing with temps or so evrything fine it's really really strange but anyway does anyone now a good program too see if my cpu runs at the right speed because it does runs on the right frequincy but maby with points so i can compare it well to see if it is really good and there is nothing wrong with it?

Ya know.... that I5 isnt bottlenecking that 290 and vice versa...

Stress your CPU using Intel Extreme Tuning Utility and monitor your clock speeds using CPU-Z.

That's fine. As long as the CPU is being pushed to 100%.

The CPU is definitely not the problem. Do you get any kind of fluctuation?

Do the clock speeds bounce at all? Like, from 3.5GHz to 800MHz(these are just examples. Not necessarily what one would experience).

no it does bounch around from 3,5 to 3,7

The CPU shouldn't be hitting 3.7GHz if all cores are hitting 100%. It should be staying at 3.4GHz.(the stock speed is 3.4GHz)

Have you checked your GPU temperatures?

Uninstall your graphics drivers and install them again.
