So we're starting an YouTube channel where we unbox and review computer related hardware, and we want to know what you want us to review. We have access to just about anything you can find in the average computer webshop. What we don't have is a good testbench setup, so real good bechmarks is not really do-able.

We could just randomly get stuff to review, but we'd rather review stuff you really want to see.

I would appreciate it if someone did a good review of the mayhems aurora coolant. How long does the affect last? How does it effect temps? How often would you have to change it for to be suitable for a 24/7 system? How hard is it to clean? All of this compared to others etc. etc.

I haven't found a good review with all of this info yet.

What makes you different from the thousands of other people trying to make it in the unboxing and reviewing world? Personally I don't care much for reviews not coming from trusted sources like TTL etc. Don't take this as a discouragement not to enter this market, take it as an encouragement to do something different.

Sadly I don't have a custom waterloop to test it on, but I will keep this in mind for the future!

To be honest, at the moment not much, we are trying to find 'our style' also we're more focust on getting a good quality video out then setting ourself apart from the rest.

My thought is that over time we will find our unique form.

Can you review the acer aspire s7-392 please.

Wow, that's real specific, but we are focussing on parts and peripherals at the moment.

Sorry about that, hope you find some good reviews in the meantime.

Thanks for the feedback guys, and please keep it coming.

I think LTT already does everything you could possibly buy.

Tablets

Phones

Graphics Cards

Motherboards

Power Supplies

HDD/SSDs

Mice

Keyboards

Monitors

Pre-Built Machines

Laptops

Glasses

other random items

starting a channel where you review everything you can get your hands on isn't exactly a new idea. Not to knock your channel but it would be extremely expensive to start from the bottom (yes that is a Drake reference)

Well it will not be real expensive as we've struck a deal with a company wich allows us to make more video's since we don't actually buy or own the stuff.

Some of the things we will be reviewing will be our own things, but most will be returned.

I personally think there is still room left on YouTube for more unboxin/review/tech channels.

I'd suggest you start with cases. Specifically ones that don't already have video reviews. There are lots of cases out there that are lacking reviews, and whenever most people purchase a case they check YouTube for reviews.

In that regard, I also recommend sticking to newly released (but not hugely popular) cases. I can't think of any examples right now, and I would say the new NZXT H630, but that is being pretty heavily reviewed already. Still, might as well review something like that to see how you go and decide if the idea is worth continuing?

I just suggest really doing your homework on products and the technology surrounding them and then just make long in depth technology overviews and reviews. Better than what Tiny Tom Logan does because his reviews are not professional at all.

Well he'll definitely need to work on being more professional, I watched his first review. You shouldn't be reading the box during the video dude :D

That was bad lol, last minute change of host and having that camera and product just for that day is what made that happen sadly.

Next video's will be far more professional.

I recommend going straight to the point and not wasting time during the video, either that or a really really in depth video, sort of like tiny tom logan. In between doesn't really work. Also maybe invest in a mic you can pin to your shirt or something? You could get rid of some of the ambient noise (or do it through software). I look forward to seeing your next review! It's a learning process, keep at it!

That is a big learning point from that video, onboard mic's on DSLR's suck.

I did a test this week with another mic and it was way better.

Hope it will be up to spec on the next video's, but its trial and error a bit at the moment.
