The 7870 xt will rip it a new one. The 7870 xt will best a 6970 and in some games can match a 6990 but thanks god it isnt as loud.

The card he has is a 7870 xt, not a standard 7870 and the difference in fps is basically the difference between a 780 and a titan. Hell ive overclocked my 7870 xt to match and even best a 7970.

Mind linking me to where you purchased your XFX version of that card? I only knew of 3 Tahiti LE cards: Sapphire, Powercolor, and Club3D.
