Help Choosing a Monitor (Dell vs Samsung)

Hi. I am looking for a new IPS or PLS (anything with wide viewing angles) 1080p monitor for under $200 w/ tax+shipping. For any of those wanting to know, I'm in the US. I also would like the full range of adjustability and either an HDMI or DisplayPort input.

I've narrowed it down to 2 options:

My vote would definitely be for the Samsung. Why don't you add a poll though? They always help . Although, if you did that I can pretty much predict that most would recommend the Dell, even though it's not the best option.

What would be your max budget BTW? I may be able to find you something better.

What's the monitor going to be for? Those two monitors are generally for business-oriented purposes and you can likely get a different monitor for cheaper in which you won't really notice the quality difference.
