Computer turns on but monitors don't display anything.

Go to solution Solved by petersleepy,

did you clear your bios?

Last night I was using my computer and everything was fine. I shut it off and go to sleep. When I wake up this morning i find that my computer will turn on but both monitors just stay blank as if the computer isn't on. Both the VGA and HDMI cables are secure so I don't know what else it can be. Please Help!

Thanks!

Okay! I finally got an image to display on the screen and now my PC is telling me that Windows is corrupt and that I should reinstall it. Should I?

If windows is corrupted you can try repairing it with the windows rescue cd or windows instal cd, if that doesn't work you need to reinstal windows. But you could try making a backup first on to a secondary disk drive. If windows doesn't let you do that, try booting of a linux live cd and copy al of your files on the drive to a secondary one.
