Upgrade Advice from 7850 please!!

Hey Guys! So I currently have a 7850, and have had it for about a year. It's a great card, but it isn't giving me the performance I want right now. I was thinking of getting a second 7850. But then I realized one video card scales better than two, so I was naturally attracted to its big brother, the 7950. But I also want to be future proof, and the 7950 is on its way out as well, along with the rest of the 7000 series. So my next bet is the 760. It performs a little worse than the 7950 in most games. It does however, CRUSH in Battlefield 3. Which is the game I will be mostly playing, along with BF4 when it comes out, and I know Dice favors Nvidia cards mostly. So, my question is, should I sell my 7850, and save up for a 760, or should I save even further for something better, maybe a 770 perhaps.

 

*** The new card will be paired with a 4670k, and 8gb of ram.

the note about DICE favouring Nvidia cards that won't be the case this year AMD have got the license this year but I would say go for a 760 or the 7950 as you said although if you can hang on AMD have the new GPU's rumoured for October.

This upgrade is planned to be later maybe around august or September anyway, but if that is the case, where AMD has the license for BF4 this year, I might go for the 8870(if that will be a model) or the 7950. Thanks! :)

Totally go for it if you play Battlefield I would say that the new cards will run it the best not just because they are new but because they are probably the cards they will optimise it for the most.

770 is such a good hardware i say save up for it cause 770 will be really good at any game i cant say the same to 760 though.
