Since I am tight with my money I wondered if it is possible to use the bluetooth within my mobile to connect the xbox 360 controller to, then connect the phone to my PC. Is this possible? Any Info is much appreciated.

I believe that you can connect your Xbox controller right into the phone with one of these:

Is this the real life? Or is this just fantasy?

Not to my knowledge. 360 controllers are kind of strange when it comes to direct PC connection. I have an adapter that I got for about $15 US which connection wirelessly and over USB to the computer.

You can't use bluetooth because xbox 360 controllers don't use bluetooth.

to my knowledge Xbox uses their own proprietary way to connect to the 360 so unless you buy an adapter for the pc it will not work.

Desktop CPU: Intel i5 2500K Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H77M-D3H GPU: EVGA 660TI 2GB Ram: Kingston 8GB 1333Mhz PSU: Unknown 500w Case: Unknown Hard drive:  WD Black 1TB Heatsink: stock OSWindows 8.1

I know my pc sucks but it does what I want it to do.

Unless it's a wired controller, which is basically plug and play. No specific software required, iirc.

wireless x360 controllers use a proprietary connections thats kinda like 2.4ghz wireless keyboards and mice instead of the Bluetooth that the PS3 and Wii used. this was so that no one could make wireless controllers without getting permission and the  technology from them. So, in order to use with a PC youll need one of their adapters. You could just get one of these which is what I would recommend though http://goo.gl/UWyjE if you need a controller for your phone I believe there are one made to be specifically compatible.

Just tried that didn't work. And can't find any software for xbox controllers on phones.

You either need a wired 360 controller or a wireless usb adapter. They are like $10-15 on amazon or ebay.

Yeah, Xbox 360 controllers don't use Bluetooth.

Just get one of these for your PC, it works perfectly. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000HZFCT2/

There are some third-party receivers that presumably work just fine if you're really tight on cash.
