Gtx 770 4gb OC or 2 Gtx 760 OC

Should i run one gtx 770 4gb:

In terms of raw power gtx 760 sli should perform slightly better then a gtx 780. However remember that you might need to invest more money into a better motherboard and or power supply. 2 gb of memory should be enough for 1080p and maybe 1440p gaming. However if you are planning to play at 4k, you should go for the 4gb 770. Here are the benchmarks:

What resolution will you be gaming at? For sheer power the dual 760 will be better by far, but if you're playing at high resolutions and you want to keep the computer upgradeable and without the trouble of SLI, the 770 will be the better choice. Honestly I would just suggest you buy a 780...

im planing on using an msi z87 gd-65 gaming motherboard.right now im gaming at 1080p but i'll upgrade to 1440p soon.anyway thanks for the advice.

2 way sli 760's will get you a higher speeds but costs a bit more

770 will get you everything you need but cost less

 

You should go with the 770 4gb you could sli in the future if wanted!
