This is a calculator from Cooler Master which I personally use....: http://www.coolermaster.outervision.com/

I havent filled in your specs but just looking at it 750w should be fine...

Is your PSU fan running loud because its under a lot of load? Does it seem to struggle in any way?

CPU: AMD FX 8120 @4.5Ghz - CPU cooler: Cooler Master Nepton 240M Watercooling - Mobo: Asus M5A97Pro - GPU: Sapphire Radeon R9 280X Vapor-X @ 1200Mhz - Memory: Kingston Hyper X 16GBs DDR3 - Storage: Kingston SSD & Seagate Baracude HDD - PSU: Cooler Master V850W PSU- Case: Cooler Master Cosmost II

Those sites tend to overestimate. Your psu is plenty.

Just as a side note, additional wattage doesn't necessarily mean a "better" PSU.

Are you planning to overclock anything? I think for a non-oc system you are perfectly fine, but if you plan to OC the CPU and both GPU's you might run into issues. For example, at stock GPU clock, the Rig in my sig pulls maybe 450-470 watts in a game. With the overclock my GPU is running in the sig, it will EASILY pull 550 watts! I think it is just turning watts into heat

You might be close, but if you have run prime 95 and furmark at the same time and you didn't have an issue, it probably isn't a purely power wattage issue as prime and furmark will pull WAY more volts than any game can.

but aside from the fact that it isnt a power issue.

isnt it beter to have more room for the psu then be on the limit evety time?

And after time the psu looses somebit of its power right? ( correct me if i am wrong?)

Yes, you don't want to be too close to the max wattage of your PSU, but your system shouldn't be close. Only when running prime 95 + furmark would it even be a worry, but running both of those programs at once will draw significantly more power than any actual game or program ever will. I don't think even with both those programs running you are drawing more than ~650 watts.

Though your running a Geforce 400 series card, those things sucked down power like a person in a water chugging contest XD.
