though the the seasonic X series power supplies use all black ribbon cables and for the one non ribbon cables (ATX 24 pin) it has all black wires with black sleeving over it.so you might want to consider it.

The SS-***XP for the 860w and 1000w model uses the multicolor cables with black sleeving.

The SS-***XP2 uses black ribbon cables, while the 24-pin has black sleeving with black cables. The 860w model has been updated to XP2 (be sure to make sure which one you getting though), but not the 1000w.

I do own a Seasonic 660XP2 and can confirm that mine uses black unsleeved cables with the exception of the 24-pin, which is composed of black cables with a black mesh sleeving.

Hey guys, i didn't want to open a new thread for this:

What way do you mount your Seasonic Platinum PSUs? Fan up or down? Because in idle they apperantly shut off the fan completeley and run passiveley. So should i mount it fan up, so that the heat can rise into the inside of the case, like it would with a completley passive PSUs? Or is it better to use the fresh filtered air intake on the bottom of the case and not let the air rise up? (Corsair Obsidian 650D)

who cares...
