What kind of a splitter/adapter do I need?

Hi!

 

I have the razer electra headset which has an in-line mic. But my desktop needs 2 wires- 1 for audio, 1 for the mic. So what kind of a splitter do I need? I guess it should be a woman ---> man adapter, right? links would help

I don't think so, that looks like just a stereo splitter.

it's a female 3.5mm TRRS  to dual male 3.5mm TRS that you need.

The female end needs to be a 4 pole. That startech you found will work.
