Not that I've heard, but I can't see why it wouldn't work as long

as the string is not too weak (not familiar with it personally, so

can't say for sure myself).

Oh bloody hell, I am terribly sorry for not having seen your post,

haven't been around too much due to my health giving me trouble.

In any case, are you refering to the wide black "ribbon" around

the wire bundle? I haven't made a video tutorial on that, but

the technique used for that is in this post. Let me know if you

have any more questions, I'm not at 100% yet, but I'm trying to

be around a bit more again.

Not a problem! I was actually able to come up with my own technique that appears the same. I doubt my technique would be applicable in a professional 'IT' setting, but it works of lacing PC cables. :)

Ah, nice. That's what matters in the end anyway, my technique is

unlikely something that's used professionally either (well, the

"ribbon" thing is I think, but not the fancy lacing technique itself),

even though it is based on a few things from that sector here and

there. If it gets the job done, I see no reason to get fussy. :D
