There's plenty of ISP's that offer 1-10Gb to certain businesses. (I'm sure you'd be able to get it too but it's VERY expensive)

Well if you want the best Northern Virginia is going to be where you want to be. Move to Ashburn in Loudon couty (richest county in the U.S.) Verizon has dozens of data centers there, and the is fiber absolutely everywhere.

Very honestly, you need almost no bandwidth at all for FPS games, or typically any games for that matter. Typically games are using somewhere around 150Kbps or less on both the up and down streams. In FPS games and other games that require quick reactions you should be more worried about ping times to the servers you like to play on.

What about hosting a server where you are not sure if you will. For example in Gotham City Imposters if you are first to the server, you will host and dictate the ping of others. Or is that just the ping of the server?
