What would you recommend

I believe that i will be able to play online with 4 GB RAM Games that i will be playing are BF3 and GTA V

And then later i buy more RAM

i say go with the 4gb and the 270x, ram can be upgraded at anytime for 40$

Wait and get another 4gb stick later and upgrade. The 270x is alright but I would prefer the 280. 4gb or ram isn't bad at all for a couple of months.

This. I think it's more important immediately to have the 280. Getting a single stick now with the intent to add another 4 GB ASAP is a good move.

Get the 280 and 4gb ram and add another stick of ram in like a month or so. The 280 once over clocked will be faster or as fast as an r9 280x which is in a completely different league than the r9 270x. Also its going to be much more future proof because it has 3gb of vram.
