NCASE M1 - High End Gaming, Photo & Video Editing PC

Ncase M1 Build Log

Hello Forum, I would like to start off by saying this is my second PC build, my old build will be shown at the end of this post.

I decided to get a new PC as my old one was starting to get dated and i wanted a smaller system sitting on my desk.

The grand total for the build including all the peripherals came to $4850 Australian Dollars.

I ended up having to install one ssd on both sides as the sata power connector wouldn't fit in between the two ssd's stacked on top of each other.

Preparing CPU cooler

Hooking up CPU cooler

I had to place the water block upside down in order to have the tubes on the left side to fit when screwing the rad to the case.

I also decided to put some fan grills on the rad to keep the cables and tubes away from the fins on the rad.

Adding two more fans

After testing the system and putting it on load the GPU was heating up a fair amount so i decided to place two more fans on the bottom of the case to bring more air to the GPU.

This made a huge difference (10-15 Degrees cooler)

Final Thoughts:

I hope this build log was informative about the process of how to build in the Ncase M1 as it is a very small case and hard to work in.

I am really happy with how it turned out as it is much smaller than my previous PC and much faster in every way, it is also extremely silent at Idle with very low temps.

That's a really nice, clean setup you've got. Is everything Razer Chroma?

Thank you very much, yes everything is Razer Chroma, The LED's customisation is great and keeps my setup looking sleek with the matching LED's

I was about to go off on a rant about the fast DDR3 until I noticed the price.

It must be do to the fact that no one buys fast DDR3

Well the build looks nice

I would get something to hide the clutter under your desk.

That is one sexy clean setup/build. How much did the case cost you?

Remember a wise man once said, "You'll most likely hear/see more bad reviews from products than good, because if they get a good product, they won't bother to write a review, and if they got a bad product, they'll complain about the product" ~ SoftenButterCream

Nice! Respect x2, 1. for Aussie and 2. for an NCASE build :) Ours are actually very similar, 4970k, 980, dominators, SFX600w, Ultrawide... excellent!

how do you find the single 980 driving the ultrawide?
