should i buy a gtx 760 itx or should i wait for gtx 960 this january 22

xxMrTimelessxx

I already ordered a 760 itx for 224.99 which i think is a good deal. only issue is i just heard on january 22 nvidia is announcing their new gtx 960's. i just want to know around what price will the new gtx 960 cost and how much better will it be if it does cost more or similar power. Also when nvidia announces the 960 cards how long before a itx varient come out. with the 760 it took half a year for the 760 itx to come out by msi.

It's going to be around $250 for refrence, and $270 for open air. (Following the other 60 cards)

i would wait, they will be a little bit more than current 760s but if they perform a lot better then its worth the extra bit of cash

but doesn't it usually take half a year more before the itx versions come out. i have a small case so if only regular sized gpu's come out it won't fit.

well i would wait but recently there was an amd driver update on my Radeon hd 6670 card and on my dual monitor set up my bigger 27 inch monitor lost 2 inches of screen from each side. i have been trying to fix it but i can't. i tried returning to the old driver and it fixes that issue but the video playback doesn't work after i do that so i'm just like screw it time to upgrade to an nvidia card lol.

Well with so many people saying to wait i guess i will be cancling my order. if they don't announce a itx version at least the 760 should drop in price with new cards coming out. Thanks for the help everyone.

You could always go with the 970 itx? It's a bit more expensive yeah, but it's pretty awesome.

If you can somehow manage to increase your budget. Then you can also consider that there are two GTX 970 models out there as well.

you could be waiting a while for ITX 960... You should try and save a little cash and buy the ITX 970 in my opinion. this will take less time than waiting for the 960 ITX

They may even introduce a 4GB iteration of the 960, which would be fab.
