I opened this topic with a middle click without even thinking about it. I use it so much. I used to always use control+click (which does the same thing) but the day I discovered the middle click I started using that.

Not only is it awesome for opening tabs, I like its scroll feature better than moving the wheel. Wheel click is important when looking at mice. I like it short and crisp, with a moderate amount of resist when compared with left and right clicks. (There's probably a techie sex joke floating around in there somewhere.)

I use it to open links so I can save the previous web page, and also opening/closing tabs quickly, so I don't have to go to the buttons, but a larger area. My G500 has a friction-less mouse wheel setting, so I don't use M3 to scroll through webpages; M3 was a bit quirky with scrolling anyways.

I always use it; it's so much easier to middle click than to right click > open new tab. It's also useful for when you want to close a tab, it's so much easier than clicking that little x.

RIP in pepperonis m8s
