Cool idea but I can see where you would could still only use a limited number of cases to use it.

The problem with this is that GM204 isn't temp-limited in the first place. It won't improve overclocks too greatly. Would have been awesome to see a 290X version.

Why do they not make a 1 card version? Seems like the pump is on the card, so there would be only one 120mm radiator if they made a 1 card version, which would be ballin, very easy to handle and mount like the how amd executed the 295, and much more appealing to the consumers rather than this contraption.

They were so preoccupied with whether they could, they didn't stop to think if they should...

Soooo.... no backplates?

First thing i was thinking when i saw these. Not really much of a reason to not have one, since there's no fan that can be blocked by the back plate of the card beneath it.

I'd still rather build my own loop and have the system running with 1 pump, 3 pumps is just unnecessary.

Asus B85M-G / Intel i5-4670 / Sapphire 290X Tri-X / 16GB RAM (Corsair Value 1x8GB + Crucial 2x4GB) @1333MHz / Coolermaster B600 (600W) / Be Quiet! Silent Base 800 / Adata SP900 128GB SSD & WD Green 2TB & SG Barracuda 1TB / Dell AT-101W / Logitech G502 / Acer G226HQL & X-Star DP2710LED

Thats kinda crazy, also wouldn't a 360mm rad have been more efficient?

Probably not. I would hope they know what they are doing. If they where all on a single loop I would imagine the pump would have to be stronger to go through multiple cards. Also the AMD reference water cooled card which is 2 GPU's runs fine on a single 120mm radiator so having a single 980 on a single 120mm radiator is just fine. Specially seen as that the 980 runs cooler and more efficiently then the 290.

Can't we just get a single 970 with a waterblock built in? Is that so much to ask?!

I would still think that a 360 would be more efficient than 3 120's. Also each card has its own pump and they would probably leave it that way like on the 295X2. This is the better way and if you only has two cards would allow you to also put you cpu up there as well. This solution is by no means elegant but maybe some system integrator would have some interest?

This just seems like a ghetto rigged solution to a non-existent problem. Its cool, but i would never use it.

I would think Gigabyte knew what they where doing. But companies do make mistakes.

Perhaps the reason for the 3x 120 Rads is so then when to go to manufacturing they can sell a single card with the minimum of manufacturing costs.

Thats the only good reason I can think of.

Main Machine:  16 inch MacBook Pro (2021), Apple M1 Pro (10 CPU, 16 GPU Core), 512GB SDD, 16GB RAM

Gaming Machine:  Acer Nitro 5, Core i7 10750H, RTX 3060 (L) 6GB, 1TB SSD (Boot), 2TB SSD (Storage), 32GB DDR4 RAM

Very big unit for no reason. Still very impressive though.

Why do i always get blue screens? Why not a red one for a change?

Looks really cool but I bet its a pain to install. They need to rethink the tubing coming out of the front bay like that. It looks sloppy.

How the hell are you going to put the GPU's in there??? With them not looking like they can detach doesn't seems like it'll be easy to install.

I'd like to see this make way for more AIO multiple GPU coolers. Custom loops are fun but I like the simplicity of AIOs.
