Computer won't post

Genecidalic

I feel for you. It's probably a DOA board. Must sucks for a first build... Have you tried doing an out of the PC build with the least amount of parts?

Ill try but I know know if I have time

Are your fans connected directly to the motherboard or through molex?

two are through molex and two are straight into the board its self

Do the molex fans power up? If not, I say it's a PSU issue as molex fans are not affected by the motherboard.

how many ram sticks do you have?

try using the ram sticks one by one and see if the system boots.

it could be DOA ram too.

Remember. The fans don't spin up either.

Yeah, should of thought of that...

Sorry man, but your board from the looks of it seems DOA unless somebody can think of another solution.

His molex fans aren't rotating. That's a PSU issue right there, unless his fans aren't hooked up properly. OP, can you try disconnecting your fans and reconnecting them? And then turning the computer on

Could be that it is just mocking you... :P

But it sure sounds like a PSU problem..no CPU fan spin, no case fan spin, only light on is the Pwr for the MB..

Check your plug from the wall..NO extension cords..check the plug into the PSU it needs to be ALL the way in..toggle the PSU switch

pull the 24 pin and the 4or8 pin CPU cables and reseat them..

Your best effort is the easiest thing to give to someone else..

Guys I found the problem and no worries I don't have to send anything back. For some reason when I plugged in the molex fan header the whole system shut off. I unplugged it and my fans still go and everything boots up. I'll post a build log tomorrow
