Razer Kraken (non pro) is it any good?

Hey guy's, i need a headset, and have been told Plantronics Gamecon 780 are crap, so i have looked at the Razer Kraken's and read they are a good headset, any confirm this? Is it worth my $70?

LOL. Plantronics gamecom 788's steam roll the krakens. The krakens are low quality over priced crap, the 788's are top of the line for the 100$ area. That and the HyperX clouds are my go to headsets at sub 100$.

I use a set of Razer Krakens and I'd only recommend them if you like a ton of bass, otherwise I'd look into something like either a pair of good Sennheisers or other good brand.
