donate it to your local computer place, or like @JEman99 said, overclock it until it catches fire.

Overclocking it is fun, but not worthwhile(you will only get a 1-5 fps increase in most games, but its good for learning how to overclock if you don't already know how). You can fold with it(I believe it gets 3k ppd, which isn't much, but good for a 24/7 machine). If you are into video conversion, Freemake works really good with it(as long as you are doing a double pass). It will work good for everyday desktop tasks and emulators(or older games like Half Life), but that's about it.

I'd keep it as a spare part(I have 5 9500Gt's btw).

I still have a working single slot GT 9800, weren't they just rebranded GT 8800 anyway?

edit: nvm, it's a GT 9600. Still looks great though.

Put it back in the box and store is away with your other unused PC componentry. The only use for that POS card would be to diagnose a problem with onboard GFX or to see a GPU is dead.

You could build a ps4 with it.

And beat it

overclock it until it burns, if you see artifacts, add more voltage! (?)

I got mine to 640 Mhz... not a lot tho

Trash it. They aren't worth much. I have one, and it's too hot to play. Shot up to 120C while playing. surprised it hasn't caught fire.

Why would it get so hot? Did you take the cooler off or something? Its only got a lower TDP than a 750 Ti.

http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-9500-gt/specifications

I never took off the cooler. Speedfan says the temps 90C, but I accidentally said 120C. Whoops. Besides, I tried to touch it for 2 seconds and it burned my hand.
