HTC One (E8 Eye) leaks via import documents

Last week HTC revealed their new Eye series phones last week, the M8 Eye and Desire Eye. So what would be the next phone in the Eye series? According to the latest leaked documents, it could be the One (E8 Eye).

According to GSMAreana, import documents from India were leaked, which a phone from HTC called "HTC One (E8 Eye)" was listed. The leaked documents showed there are several hundred units of E8 Eye being imported into India, and the phone is priced at INR 27,275 (about $445). The One (E8) is priced at INR 27,275 (about $445) in India.

Besides NFC (listed as dropped on the pic above), there is still not much info about the spec of this E8 Eye. Since the phone is in the Eye series, we can safely assume that the Eye experience featured in Desire Eye and M8 Eye will be available on this phone. But since the Eye Experience will eventually come to the original E8 via update, personally I don't understand why HTC need to release this E8 Eye.

To anyone who doesn't know the biggest visible difference between an M8 and an E8, the E8 is made out of plastic while the M8 is metal.

Yes, but the Desire Eye is also made of plastic, and these phones are so close in spec (HTC has made 7-8 phones with a similar spec). Maybe the E8 Eye will price lower than the M8 Eye and Desire Eye?

It's definitely a possibility, but I won't hold my breath.

I would type more, but I am currently doing so on bare Cherry MX Blue switches with no caps.

I was dismantling and cleaning the G710+, and my only backup is a Razer BW Tournament with no caps.
