I'd get the 970 solely for the 4GB VRAM and better NVENC chip.

780 ti will give you the best performance
A 970 is in the middle of a 770 and a 780 but it can OC like crazy

What.  A 970 beats a 780 hands down in almost every scenario, and is as fast as a stock 980 when overclocked.

Guys have you looked at the prices? The 780ti is a nobrainer for only 20€ extra.

Why the 780Ti when I can get a cheaper 970 and OC it and perform the same while having the latest tech and more VRAM?

I'd go with the new 970, and think if I want MSI or Asus? ..too bad you can't get Sapphire 970's!

You'll have to get that 970 to 1800 mhz or so to match a 780ti.

What.  At 1500MHz it's already beating the 780Ti.

No it's not. A 1520 mhz it's still roughly 10% slower than the 780ti.
