How is the RAM overkill?  :unsure: PSU is fine, there is no harm in running a higher wattage PSU than required, especially not if you're planning on adding another graphics card down the road.

Given that the psu has no price associated with it and given that it is an older model, I'm guessing that it is from an older build.

 

I would suggest a less expensive memory kit, perhaps  Mushkin Stealth 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory. And, a less expensive o/s, Microsoft Windows 8.1 - 64-bit (OEM) (64-bit).

 

If the budget is available you might want to consider getting a GTX 970. With the two suggestions above it would add about $35 to the cost.
