Is this build OK ?

SaladinSVK

I want to get new machine for christmas with budget around 1250 € (max 1300 ) i will buy all parts from Alza.sk (hopefully they will add some great christmas discount like last year)

Mainly for gaming  (1080p monitor ..maybe 1440p in future)

so this is what i was thinking about :

MoBo-MSI Z97 GAMING 5 (131,95)

Memory-Kingston 16GB KIT DDR3 2133MHz CL11 HyperX Beast Series (177,14)

CPU- Intel Core i7-4790K (328,51)

CPU cooler- Cooler Master Hyper 212+ EVO  (31,52)

GPU-MSI GTX 970 GAMING 4G  (351,47)

PSU-Corsair CX600M (87,48)

Storage-(i will go with hdd only for some time and add ssd later) Western Digital Blue 1000GB (54,84)

Case - Zalman Z11 HF1  (59,15)

i will go with my old Windows 7 64 , so no need to buy new right now

total price 1222,06 €

i am not sure if it is OK so i will be thankful for any advice

Looks great. But you should drop it to 8gb of ram and a 4690k, use the extra money you save and buy a really solid ssd like a intel 730 240gb or if you want a cheaper slower ssd get a crucial mx100 you won't use even 8gb for games and the difference between the cpu's is hyperthreading. Another thing games just do not use.

Ryzen 3700x -Evga RTX 2080 Super- Msi x570 Gaming Edge - G.Skill Ripjaws 3600Mhz RAM - EVGA SuperNova G3 750W -500gb 970 Evo - 250Gb Samsung 850 Evo - 250Gb Samsung 840 Evo  - 4Tb WD Blue- NZXT h500 - ROG Swift PG348Q

well..i could change  RAM to Kingston 8GB KIT DDR3 2400MHz CL11 HyperX Beast Series and CPU to Intel Core i5-4690K  to save abou 190 € , but will it be good enough for games like crysis 3 or Witcher 3 ( i have heard that those games are CPU dependet , also about RAM...is 8gb enough even if i am running steam ,eset and maybe chrome while playing ? )

8GB is more than enough for everything and i7 won't do much for gaming.
