K70 RGB Malfunction

I'm having issues with my keyboard. I just got it today and I tried some of the community posted profiles and whenever one is "moving" (the colors) after a while it just stops and freezes. On the Utility under device it says its malfunctioning, so I have to unplug and plug back in again but it has no problems when it is set to solid colors or multiple solid colors. Any thoughts on whats going on?

Is it an extremely complex pattern....which maybe the keyboard can't handle?

Its just a simple rainbow going left to right.

Happens to me all the time, the software is still very buggy. The best solution is just to unplug and re-plug the keyboard into a different usb port, that's the solution we're basically stuck with until Corsair updates the firmware and software.
