Bored of PC Gaming? What to do?

iTzPrime

Hey guys!

So i am really bored of PC gaming, even of Indie titles. Gaming was pretty much my only hobby in the last 5 years, spending over 10 hours a day in it, when i got the time. Now i don't have any desire to play anything. I have watched a lot of anime, thinking that after that, it would become more interesting, but it was the opposite. I am even more bored of gaming now.

Suggestion what i should do now?

I don't exactly blame you. For every good game, there seems to be an endless mountain of poo that somehow squeaks by Steam's green light. On the AAA end, it feels like the FPS obsession is still there. FPS obsession, retro pandering and a combo of simulators/games ripping off other games. Not many games are really WOW factor. I've actually forgiven Rockstar and want GTA V now. There is also Civilization Beyond Earth.

Really? I have 60 PC games in total, yet I only have 20 downloaded... Oh the glorious PC master race. It's a shame PC Ports are horrible now, but I hope you return when GTA 5 releases for PC. :P

Anyways, finding a new hobby, learning something new such as a sport, or coding, etc. Would be a good thing to do.

yea, ALL gaming is in the shitter right now, worse on the consoles tho, find books to read, there are TONS of amazing fantasy books that really make for better immersive stories than any game, and then you have audio books if reading isnt your thing, and Audible has TONS of epic fantasy books to get, i have spent TONS of hours on that when i get bored with gaming and there is no anime to watch.

Honestly I feel like it's an age thing. As I got older around 18 or so I started playing less video games. I have no idea why, but I just don't enjoy playing games as much as I used to. I've become very selective about which games I choose to play.

I spend my spare time watching TV/Movies now, late 90's early 2000's.

I have probably owned 500+ games over the past 9 years, but as times move on I let them go if they aren't up to snuff with current games in some way. I would own more, but I've been in money troubles for a while so I have had to cut spending down.

Same boat as you, I hit an age in my life where I do have the time to game but it no longer appeals to me. I would suggest taking up possibly learning to program. Why bother playing games when you can make them.

Play games IRL.

Go play tabletops.

Do LARPING.

Play Airsoft...etc.

Soon you will be reminded of how shitty real life is and go back to PC gaming.

Anyone who has a sister hates the fact that his sister isn't Kasugano Sora.
Anyone who does not have a sister hates the fact that Kasugano Sora isn't his sister.
I'm not insulting anyone; I'm just being condescending. There is a difference, you see...
