Sennheiser Urbanite (Mic on PC?)

Redpalmtree
Go to solution Solved by Shroomster,

You need a splitter, because the headphones use a 4 pin connector. But I think it will work. It is a regular mic as far I can see.

Hello everyone,

I'm on the verge of buying an Urbanite, but I have one last question: Will I be able to use the built-in mic on my PC? (In gaming for example)

Thanks in advance

I see.. Will I need some kind of special mic-and-audio splitter, or just a regular one?

It won't work unless you use a splitter, it doesn't work for me when i tried the ones that came with my samsung phone which has mic and headphones in 1 x 3.5mm plug.

Thank you all, luckily the cable is detachable. I'll just get a splitter and switch cables whenever I switch between gaming and going outside :)

No worries! Just thought it'd be easier/better if people could see what you were talking about. :)
