yeah...

but infalibility of the words of Jesus doesnt necesarily means infalibility of current scriptures

having said that, I can barely think on a few scriptures that we understand differently

Official position of the church is that J. Smith did it observing an ancient practice that the ancient pathricarcs had (Abraham, Jacob, etc.)

However some mormon scholars pointed out that smith never had any descendants and no DNA evidence had confirmed that he did

sucessors of Smith (Brigham Young and so on) did have multiple wives and dozens of children....

It was never a common practice among all mormons just a few of them and we still believe that it was not against God's will

We ended that up because it became ilegal, after that "Edmunds Tucker Act" and the "Official Declaration 2" all plural families were disolved

No offense, but why on earth are you Mormon, or religious at all? Were you raised Chrsitian, and converted to Mormonism of your own accord, have Mormonism forced down your throat, or just decide to be a Mormon all of a sudden?

I was born and raised mormon, my father was one of the first generation of mormons in my country, my country is mostly catholic, I have lived and worked among new born christians (many many good memories), and I usually enjoy to share some time with the witnesses of jehova....

Actually we had an appointment for today and they did not show up

We call them "CUY" and they are a little bit different, however many peruvians (usually people from Lima) thinks thats gross.... Many of us think them as rats without tail

Taste like chicken with a thicker skin

boxers, briefs or mystical undergarments?

they are called garments which are not really different from regular underwear

and they are not magical, thats a missconception even among a few mormons

its basically a reminder for the ones that had made certain covenants

If the bible and book of Mormon are considered of equal importance in the Mormon religion, then why do they only have the one book with them when going door to door?

cause almost every body happens to own a Bible, but as a former missionary I can tell by experience

that if we find a person without a bible we can get him a copy of this too....
