Thank you for pointing that out!

Swoit!

So, you're skipping right passed the 13th Doctor and calling yourself the 14th Doctor?

FYI: The War Doctor wasn't counted. ;)

I'm guessing that the side window on the H440 is considerably better considering it costs AU$90 more

than the S340. Of course I don't expect you to know this, just kinda thinking out loud, so to speak.

If you could get a stained glass window in a similar pattern or like the time vortex that would be amazing.

  • 3 weeks later...

Little update.. Was going to buy parts, but after talking with, she agrees and wants me to not rush this and wants me to be a showpiece..

so I bought a dremel and time to cut stuff

Attached are the planned cuts, I am either doing tonight or tomorrow

First I am drilling/cutting out the HDD bay.

of5wpSw.jpg

Cutting part of the PSU Shroud so I can fit a 360mm radiator up front..it will fit :) and the chalk is just a temporary marking to give me idea

B714IzI.jpg

Last, I am cutting out the "Crack in Time" (a doctor who reference like rest of build) I am going to have white acrylic behind it and LEDs to make the crack glow

9Zv8dQu.jpg

Hoping to wear out some disc prior to the crack in time to help get the more intricate cuts, if not be a bit of hand work.

Hi!
Are you planning to do something with the cable cover? If not, have you thought about painting the 4th doctors scarf on it? I think it would look really cool(and sneak in some extra references into the build) although it might ruin the color coordination a bit.

I had thought about it, but decided not to because it would just clash with the color scheme.. So been tinkering away at ideas to sneak other stuff in...now if I had access to a 3d printer...
