Chase's Console Killer

ScubaChase

The only change I would've done is change that A8-5600K to either a 750K or a 760K. But I don't think there's much a speed difference regarding the CPU portion anyways. That's a real neat little build.

Intel Core i7-5820K (4.4 GHz) | Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming | Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB  | 2x 360mm Custom Loop (Noctua iPPC) | ASRock X99 Extreme6 | Samsung 840 EVO 250GB | Fractal Design Define S | Corsair HX750 | Windows 10 | Corsair M65 RGB PRO | Corsair K70 RGB LUX (CherryMX Brown) | Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro & Creative Sound Blaster Z | Nexus 6P (32GB Aluminium) | Check out my setup: Project Kalte Here!

Congratulations on your new build! While I personally would not have selected an APU when getting a discrete graphics card as it unnecessarily adds to cost, the satisfaction from having your own system is great. I'm also glad you got a Wi-Fi enabled MoBo because using a USB wireless adapter is a PITA, and most mITX builds are meant for wireless.

Props on getting everything to fit into that tiny little ITX case. It looks like you just barely managed to squeeze that GPU in!

720p, huh? You can get very good framerates with an APU alone in BF4 at 720p, given that you have fast ram 2300 mhz or so. There are a few vids on this on the YouTubes.

If it can mean anything to anybody at any time, it means nothing.

This makes me very happy. More people should get this sort of deal. Slowly the stigma that you need hella $$$$ to get into PC gaming will disappear.

Love the build.

So far I convinced 2/4 guys in my friend group to build PC's and whenever the other two say anything along the lines of "Yeah you can't get a PC for the same price of PS4 or Xbox" the three of us PC gamers just look at eachother and make disapproving faces. It's glorious.

You can play at high settings, 1080p with that CPU and GPU and even use something like VirtuMVP to use the power of your intergraded gpu that comes with the cpu!

Geek stuff aside, nice build...

So it can max out Crysis 3? or Metro Last Light? or Metro 2033, or Watchdogs?

Come on now, a little sodium chloride for the hyperbole please.

c'mon watchdogs?? you need a TITAN to max it out at 1080p and crysis runs fine on 1080p although 900p is suggested also metro runs fine too  ;)

Really? because my 670s in SLI struggled with Last Light. So how a single R270 manages better is a mystery lost on me. 2033 was even worse.

Maybe if you reduced the settings to virtually nothing then yeah, you'd get away with it. But any high end game is not going to be able to be ran anywhere near maximum settings.
