1) Linux - It's fast, Unix based, open source, free and you can put many version on a flash drive

2) OSX - Even after that horrible, buggy thing called Yosemite it's still better than Windows. It's pretty robust and I like the fact that you can only tinker if you know how. Nice UI pre-yosemite too.

3) Windows - It's a pile of rickety old crap, and it pains me that I have to use it.

Network Gear:  TP Link Gigabit 24 Port Switch, TP-Link Deco M4 Mesh Wi-Fi, M1 MacMini File & Media Server with 8TB of RAID 1 Storage

General consensus typically is Windows, followed by OSX, followed by *nix, funnily enough.

I use Windows 8.1 & Ubuntu 14.04 using the Cinnamon DE.

I stuck with 7, don't like 8. I liked the preview of 10 but the last update of it went a little screwy so I have gone back to 7.

You should have an option for win7 and for win8 on the poll

 

Anyway I still use win7

I have dual boot ( Windows 8.1/Linux Mint Cinnamon ) on desktop 1 

quad boot ( Win 7/Mint KDE/Arch/Gentoo) on desktop 2

tri boot ( Ubuntu14.04,1 mate/Windows 10 trial/Fedora18) on desktop 3

Linux is fun to play around with and mold to your liking .

 MSI Z97A Gaming7 , 4690k , 2 X MSI 960 4g , 500gb ssd , 7tb of WD hdd storage , EVGA 100G2 , Corsair h100i , 2 X 32" 1440p as I RMAd the 4k ones , CM quickfire .

NOW I'VE LOST IT I KNOW I CAN KILL . TRUTH IS HIDDEN BEYOND THE GATES  IT'S ALL DARKER THAN BLACK .
