Piece out my PC or sell?

So I am doing a new build in a few months around haswell. Here are my specs:

I7-2600k

Evo 212

DVD-RW

2x4gb ddr3 1600mhz

Samsung 840 pro 128gb

Ocz vertex 3 120gb

Hd 7950 vapor x

Gx 650w 80+ bronze

Gigabyte z68

Haf 932

I would reuse the case, dvd and 840 pro if I owner it out. Here is the going rates of these items used on ebay.

I7-2600k: 250

Hd 7950 vapor x: 275

Ocz vertex 3: 80

Gx 650: 50

Ram: 40

Mobo: 60

I'm not entirely sure I'd get 300 more as a whole unit. Remember case+ optical replacement cost and shipping can b 100+

slowly build ur new build? i personly only buy like 1 or 2 parts each paycheque thats how i can hove so many systems i dont have to resell them to get a new one my personal opinion

Why not just get a new mobo and cpu? everything else you have is great.

I'm a student on unemployment so I can't justify 2 grand but around half that I can. I plan to build it, then water cool it.

Aesthetics, and power. Hd 7950 oc'ed isn't enough, system is too loud, and not powerful enough for what I need.

Well the issue is my motherboard. And might as well swap out the cpu for 60 bucks for 25% gain. Sandy bridge can't hit 5.0ghz due to voltage restriction. Also sb can't do pci-e 3.0 along with other things.

pci-e 3.0 right now is gimicky and sandy brige oc better then ivy most people are saying although ur mobo i dont think is going to alow a oc to well being a lower end chip set

Video editing, rendering, streaming, heavy multitasking. Problem is sb cannot utilize all the features I need. it also cannot oc high enough due to limited over volting.

Finalize all the parts you need for your build and make 100% sure you can buy them on a moments notice, then off your entire rig on ebay for 1k, wait for somebody to buy it. When it sells and they've payed the money do a full format of the drives and send it to them.

Then feel free to buy all the parts for your new rig ;) you may have to go a few days without a rig but that will minimize downtime compared to switching out components and selling 1 by one.

I have a backup laptop, so I am debating this. But I'm not entirely sure if I can get 1k.

It's loud and bogs in crysis 3 and metro last light, plus I am considering a 1440P monitor or 3x1080 monitors soon.

I can get 700-800 piecing out the parts I don't need.  To sell my PC, I'll need to buy a new SSD 100-120, shipping will cost 100+, and the case replacement will also cost 100.  So will I get more than 1050?  If so it MIGHT be worth it.  But then I run into the fact that the Corsair 350D is a smaller case, it will not have room for a mechanical drive if I remove the front drives for a thick 60MM radiator.

Expensive shipping is the leading cause of pc's underselling. It if I charge 50 and I ship it from pa to ca it will cost 150-200. So I can't charge that much.

Problem is I need to replace my mobo as the sata controller is failing.  Also sandy bridge can only OC so far due to voltage, is not compatible with PCI-E, so I lose bandwidth with SLI/Xfire, also LGA1155 only usually has 2 SATA 3 ports on mid range boards, and SB doesn't benefit from ram much past 1600MHz even in areas like video rendering.
