It was a general statement not directed at the OP.

It's not your system. Why do you care if it's overkill? It's an effin beast machine.

A lot of waste, specifically the fourth Titan Black. That's why. I mean, all the power to them if they like wasting money. Like I said.

If I saw someone with this, I wouldn't think they were overly smart for their choices.

Nice rig.
I didn't know Digitalstorm had a LTT account. thats cool. I just know of your one on OCN. Whcih i see alot of.

It is interesting reading comments from LTT compared to OCN on rigs like this. the difference in what people say is vastly different.

Aaaaaaand? If the customer has the money, why not? You wouldn't feel 'woah this is cool' while building a PC like this, you'd be like 'this is fucking bullshit I hate my job my customers are a bunch of dumbfucks' wouldn't you.

i agree its a beast but when i see systems like this i cant help but wonder what in gods green earth they are trying to do.. if they are aiming for 4k at a constant 60fps gaming yeah i can understand that a little better but even my system can do pretty well on 4k even though its not constant 60fps but its still easily playable and its not nearly as overkill.

comments like "waste of money' or "thats overkill" are not as common. As some of the people on there have rigs like this.

OCN just has more of a enthusiasts vibe going on. But LTT is still young. you never know where it will end up in a few years. :D LTT community is much more friendly IMO. there are some real scallywags around here. *cough* @SAV1OUR and @tmcclelland455 :P

The dude who ordered it obviously has the money to blow on an overkill system. I don't think having the mindset of seeing machines like that and automatically thinking "Wow this is overkill" is right. Why can't you guys just appreciate the system? It's not your money for one, and two, it's not your system.

Is it because someone on the planet now has a more powerful machine and a bigger e-peen than you? :P

I mean, if I saw a dude driving a Lambo (I have before), I would not stop him when he got out of his car and say "Dude, your car is so overkill. Why did you overpay for your vehicle to get you from point A to point B?". Instead, I'd tell the dude "Nice car!" and appreciate the car itself.
