For the most part, he says that Linus is being paid by companies for his overviews, with little experience in knowing about how the items will hold up. What do you think? I personally am impartial.

What is the time stamp?

Agree with the paid part. Other then that how should he test stuff on long term use? Use it for 4 months and then review old parts? Doubt that anyone want's to see this.

Bye LTT. That was an interesting journey on this board. At least here you see how not to do it. I'll go shaking my head about this place.

He's just jealous of Linus' good looks....

Linus has worked for NCIX building PC's so saying that he doesn't have experience is silly.

Yes Linus gets payed to make some reviews but he still gives an honest approach to it, if it's a bad product he won't sugar coat it.

I don't think Linus (or any other reviewer) can be expected to know how parts hold up without using them for months or years, and by that time no one cares about the review.

He has a job and making these videos aren't his lively hood and what he uses to support his family and employees. He has no right to say this or to judge Linus.

I agree with what he says, though Carey and Linus are two totally different in terms of styles.

Linus is straight forward, and is straightforward with the basic knowledge that we want to know quickly. But he is paid for some of his reviews. (Oh course he is, how do you think he buys all his equipment and pays his staff?)

Carey is in depth with his knowledge and takes time with his videos and doesn't review products.

Alright, here goes. I'm not jealous of not getting sponsorships. I don't have a YT channel or anything. I don't expect free stuff.

Linus is biased. I mean, everyone is biased, but he has a direct conflict of interest. He reviews every new Corsair product and makes it out to be incredible. He reviewed the 760T, and instead of commenting on poor build quality when a couple small things broke, he said it was only a minor issue and said Corsair offers great customer service. HardwareCanucks is a better resource for case reviews in my opinion, partly because of excellent B-roll footage and in depth commentary, and partly because they're willing to call it like it is. Corsair has been lowering their quality and asking for a premium price. The 200R, 300R and 230T are examples of this. The 900D has build quality issues. Every time they find a flaw they call Corsair out on it. I want to see Linus do the same.

Anybody has the right to judge anybody. Linus using his videos as the main line of support for his family and employees leave it to where he needs to please his sponsors to continue getting revenue from them. Having little to no support in making videos is the reason why Carey can have an unbiased standpoint on this.

I removed the post because I was mislead. I was under the impression he said this.

with little experience in knowing about how the items will hold up

I can understand how some people might view Linus as partial to one side and that is understandable and probably true in some cases.

I asked the forum though, a place where naturally there will be some bias.

When I used for the most part, I used it improperly. I meant to say that it was how I interpreted it. And how the hell can no one spell "definitely"? "Defiantly" is a completely different word.
