I know that, but Sony has always used the numbering system to show each generation of Playstation, so it sounds stupid when Microsoft uses it to show it has more than one feature

Mitsubishi makes fridges in case you're wondering. In the US, we only have Mitsubishi Motors, so I wouldn't be surprised if Hitachi made plenty of other products in different regions.
