Trying to get my WiFi situation under control:

image.png.233aaf2011be43fdfadd007eda225565.png

Really like the G Pro wireless i currently have, but everytime i'm at my buddy's who still has the G502 it reminds me of me having my own G502. It has just the perfect shape for my hand/grip. Sadly i didn't know the G502 lightspeed existed when i was shopping for a wireless mouse. It'll also be interesting to see how good i can handle a heavier mouse after using the 80g G Pro for 1.5 years.

Cheapy headphone stand for my cheapy HD579s

I have one similar to that but it's got wood feet, and padded (covered in faux leather).  It's been great.

My new build finally has a new GPU, which means my son gets my 2080 Super. It's in, but I'm still waiting on my Cablemod cables for it. So right now it's in with the standard SeaSonic cables.

Also picked up another Blue Snowball. My son has been working on YouTube videos. I got him one to help with his audio. When I realized how bad the audio was in my office / computer room (when we use my PC) it was clear I needed it to add one too.

A couple of cases I'd order came at the same time, after the recent battery change on my Tab S2, I'd decided a new case was in order. Also got a VRS Design Terra Guard case for my Flip 3. It offers full hinge protection very much like the Spigen Slim Armor Pro for my Fold 2.

Just nearing the end of 龍が如く6 (eg Yakuza 6) and the 7-game Kiryu series, so got the Japan only spinoff 龍が如く維新 (Ryuu ga Gotoku Ishin). This game got pretty good reviews in Japan but Sega has in the past said they wouldn't localize it. I was really surprised to see the game has a manual with it.

With the arrival of this Steam themed keycap, I still have one more on the way (it's a The Witcher piece), but I must say this Steam keycaps seems solidly build with a mostly metal construction (similar to The Witcher one which is on the way). It came with a keycap puller and its own tin case for protection.

spacer.png

Installed it on my current keyboard and it does look pretty good.

I'd changed the battery of my Samsung Tab S2, and since it has a new lease of life with the change, I'd decided to get myself one of the folder type case for it, and also ordered and got a VRS Design Terra Guard case for my Z Flip 3. This awesome case offers full hinge protection, much like the Spigen Slim Armor Pro for my Fold 2.

The case does add a fair bit of bulk to the Z Flip 3, but I've always prioritized protection over aesthetics....

The schmoo on the pivot is actually excess lube. I used Knife Pivot Lube on it, and I've left a little coating of it to keep it running smooth.

I adjusted the pivots where the knives/saw/file/handles attach, and got it seriously smooth. I added some lubricant to where the detents are, just to keep it from gumming up or rusting.

I got it discontinued, on sale. I also spent around 2 hours cleaning it when I first got it. The nylon case/holster is pretty disappointing, but it's not useless, at least. I would like to get a leather replacement for scout carry. For when I drive, left hip actually works well, but when I'm using it, I prefer right hip. I would like to try small of the back horizontal (scout), as well as horizontal on the hip.

Uhhh... I used standard Knife Pivot Lube for the detents, but I used the heavy version on the rest. Heavy will stay in place better. The coating is meh, but I do like it black (that's what SHE said). It's smooth, and really, I almost want to buy a second one... Though, next one I get will probably be a Free P4.

And yes, I lubricated the scissors, too. 😄

Would you happen to be European?

I'm tremendously tempted to buy one myself before they run out, but I'm afraid that after customs I may not be able to properly sit down for a couple days.

If you are indeed European, what was your experience like last year? How many € did you have to pay in customs?

I'm actually in Switzerland and I don't remeber if I had to pay anything for Customs. But it for sure wasn't more than 20 or 30 Bucks. It wasn't just the T-Shirt which I ordered back then but also other Merch Items. I buy a lot from Amazon and LTTStore.com and I rarely have to pay extra for Customs or Taxes. The Shirt is sold out by now btw.
