Yeah, noticed it in testing. Will be rough when my A7R2 can produce decent results at 6400 and even at 12800, you get usable images.

I'll see how I get on with it anyway. I can always just sell it and get a e mount APS C super zoom (actually would work out not too much more, money and weight wise) and go from there.

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

18-135?

On my A7R2 my "everyday lens" is the 24-240, but obviously it's heavy. When I don't feel like carrying that (or longer lenses) I have an RX10 III.

Yeah, I have considered the 18-135 but decided to at the very least try MFT as the 14-140 is like half the weight of the 18-135 whilst having a wider range. Probably will just grab one if MFT doesn't work out.

I've tried both the 24-240 and Tammy 28-200. Neither worked for me. The Tammy was especially awful as I had three copies and all had issues (two focus issues, one major decentering issues). I'm sure if I could get a good copy, I'd like it but until them, that's not happening. My 24-105 will I guess remain as my "do everything" lens, but I could really do with a little more tele-ness from it (150mm~ at 18MP of course is still great but would like 200-ish, that's not like 10mp).

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

Recent purchase dump featuring my ever-janky temporary setup.

Sealed copy of GTA V for the 360. Was only a few bucks more than used copies so why the hell not.

RDR GOTY and a decent copy of FM3 Limited Collector's Edition. Codes were used and it didn't have the flash drive which sucks but was to be expected. Also got a replacement screen + gasket dealio for my iPhone 7 that I destroyed the screen on just over 15 months ago. Forgot to salvage the earpiece speaker and camera from the old screen though so I've still gotta buy those. Gasket still hasn't arrived, but that's fine since I'm not gonna install that until I've actually got everything.

Don't get too excited just yet, most ISP-provided routers don't regardless of how new...

A motherboard to do a slight upgrade on my mother’s old computer. An ASUS H81M-C that I’ve installed an i3 4150, 2x4gb of 1600 Ram, and a new ADATA SU800 256gb SSD. I’m going through and getting all the drivers and updates done now so she doesn’t have to deal with it later. It’s a surprisingly good experience considering the hardware. It will also be going back into the same ASUS prebuilt gaming computer case that currently has a Phenom II x6 setup in it.

Picked this up yesterday. Don't know what the shutter count is and I'll be needing to buy another USB cable as the 7D Mark II uses a USB micro B connector (*sigh* really Canon??). Lens needed some TLC but the rest of the body is in good condition. Only problem is the SD Card cover/door is broken, so I might order a replacement off eBay and replace the door. Otherwise, it performs great. (Fun Fact: Canon decided to place the exposure scale in the viewfinder vertically and not horizontally, although it appears you can have it horizontally but is not enabled/lit up in manual mode).
