Not the fanciest thing out there, but I really wanted something so I could play the latest AAA games on my 4K TV.

More 99% Isopropanol Alcohol for the PS3 Restoration Project and in general it's just amazing for cleaning:

Akwox Cherry MX Key Switch Tester with Cherry MX: Red, Black, Grey, Brown, Silver, White, Clear aka Speed, Blue and Green. I bought this to help me determine which Switch I like the most because I'm looking to buy something like a Roccat Sova Couch/Bed Gaming Solution Lapdog like @CerealExperimentsLain just did:

You can take a look at all of the Tech that I own and have owned over the years in my About Me section and on my Profile.

I'm Swiss and my Mother language is Swiss German of course, I speak the Aargauer dialect. If you want to watch a great video about Swiss German which explains the language and outlines the Basics, then click here.

If I could just play Videogames and consume Cool Content all day long for the rest of my life, then that would be sick.

Isopropanol Alcohol

Isopropanol or Isopropyl alcohol

The suffix 'ol' signifies an alcohol

The Sova uses some kinda proprietary mechanical keys and you can't readily swap them.  (There's also a membrane version)  That said I think it's size is 'just right'.  IMO the Lapdog is really big, the Sova is big already but no bigger than it needs to be, where as the Lap Dog is really big.  (Granted you can pull the keyboard right out of the Laptop.  It's more a 'bracket' for Corsair products where as the Sova is a single unit that just needs a mouse.)

Just bought this as a birthday gift for a girl I like, hopefully it arrives on time...

I sadly didn't preorder it cause I was finishing my build so I had to over pay it by like 80€ but it's worth it since I know she will like it!

Got another 4 JBL LSR308 MkII's for plopping around the house. I think I enjoy them more than the LS50's I have dotted around, so they may end up getting fully replaced by some either LSR308's or the 708's.

LTT's Resident Porsche fanboy and nutjob Audiophile.

Main speaker setup is now;

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)

48 inch LG OLED C1 for my new monitor, already loving it. Upgrade from a 75 hz ultrawide Samsung I had previously

Man please set that scaling down. The standard 300% is for blind people. With this monitor size you're probably fine at 100-125% and have a lot more screen space to work with then. I used 125% for my former 27" 4K monitor and i could read everything perfectly fine at a normal sitting distance.

Anyway, enjoy your new monitor. OLED is great and all, but i'm very interested how many of those will turn up on the 2nd hand market in a few years where the pornhub logo is burned in. I also have a C9 55" myself, but only use it occasional for games. It's mainly for streaming movies and shows via Netflix, Prime Video, etc.

I just got this as a main monitor and i'm really happy with it:

image.thumb.png.4812844eaa69a4d52fa84964485b2581.png

I'm no competitive player, but 200Hz is a nice bonus. The 512-zone FALD does an amazing job at enhancing contrast, delivering a much more impressive HDR experience than my C9 OLED. Got it for 1700€ instead of it's 2500€ MSRP and it's been great so far.

Lol yes they are capable of some volume.. they are pretty quiet until my CPU has the nerve to generate heat. They drown out my 120x28s, and my furnace 😄
