Jelly fish in glass: Victor Harbour, South Australia, from the gift shop near the tram

I like round things *-* they glow in the dark too

A few years back, my wife and I were working at/living at a private boarding school, and she was away at a reptile/exotic pet show with some of our students on a weekend outing.  She started texting me that she was bringing home a jellyfish, but she was being very vague about it, which sent me into a slight panic as it seemed plausible from quick research that she was really bringing one back with her.

Then she got home and presented a jellyfish like that, with an LED base to stand it on.

It was easily one of my dumbest moments 😅

Both are from Amazon.

You can take a look at all of the Tech that I own and have owned over the years in my About Me section and on my Profile.

I'm Swiss and my Mother language is Swiss German of course, I speak the Aargauer dialect. If you want to watch a great video about Swiss German which explains the language and outlines the Basics, then click here.

If I could just play Videogames and consume Cool Content all day long for the rest of my life, then that would be sick.

Are these not available in Switzerland or why do you have the Indian version?

Well I bought them from Amazon and yes they shipped from India for some reason lol. No they're available here, it's just that they were really cheap on Amazon and I was already doing a big order and you know Online Shopping is so much more convenient then having to hunt them down in a local store.

Just got this thinkpad L380, probably the best built laptop I've ever had, the laptop itself is very sturdy and feels great. Not to mention that it's in pristine condition, worth every penny of the 300£ I paid for it, plus it still has 10 months warranty.

Took a trip to the store to get a torque wrench and feeler gauge to check the spark plug gap for the spark plugs on my car...now I'll have to wait until the morning to change the spark plugs as I just drove the car.

Nabbed a couple of LEGO cars, namely the 911 Turbo and the Audi Quattro S1 E2 as it's my birthday today, and I thought they might look nice sat on my desk.

image.png.3d74f709f38825c44e3e7cb978805c46.png

Also got some sets from the Botanical collection, both for the fiancee and to look nice hanging around the house.

LTT's Resident Porsche fanboy and nutjob Audiophile.

Main speaker setup is now;

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)

Nice clickbait video.

In the end it states they do work but just not energy efficient. Since this is a BACKUP A/C and heater in case my electricity goes out it will be plugged into my generator.

But it will be used full time as a dehumidifier when needed in early spring.

Not clickbait at all, very accurate.

They're so inefficient that they're almost useless. I have one too becasue where I am I probably only need AC a week or 2 per year, but it's just enough to bring the temp down about 3°C in a pretty small room, AND I'm ducting the intake to the outside already.
