Couldn't help but splash on a Mi 10 Ultra. Bit pricey for my liking, but at least they're bringing something to the table unlike most asking for more money.

Not particularly huge on the whole curved screen thing, though the hole punch camera is far less obnoxious than I thought it'd be.

Awesome. Wow for a 6 year old drive looking at the D.O.M. (Date of Manufacture), hope its still worth keeping, as long as you have a backup...and that extended warranty in case it goes. I still have a WD Blue 1TB from 2015 in my system that I use a lot.

Nice. Was it a bastard to get?

Actually, not at all. I would've went to Microcenter earlier in the day, but I was bringing my grandfather as well for him to grab a laptop for a family member. So I didn't get to Microcenter until 11:30ish. Shopped for the laptop, then grabbed a voucher for the 60 Ti around noon. There was line however for the 3070/80s and potential 5000 series CPUs coming in stock. That was more of a mess, but the young lady gave me my voucher and I walked to the counter for them to tell me which they had available and I checked out. I waited in the check out line longer than it took for me to get the voucher and choose which model I wanted, haha. (Which was either the MSI or the Gaming X) I just couldn't spend over $500 for a Ti. I would've felt dirty.

Me: don't buy GPU if yours is still good

Also me:

My PCs: Desky | Beddie | Miney | Benchie

Things I need help with: (nothing at the moment)

Spoiler

none atm

I hate Intel's pricing, Ryzen's weird quirks, Nvidia's pricing, and Radeon GPUs in general

Spoiler

Products I like:

Spoiler

Sony Xperia Z1 / Z2 / 10 ii, Asus Strix 970 / 1070, Samsung SSD, WD HDD, Corsair PSUs (AX, RM, CX(grey)), GeForce GPU, NZXT N450/S340, be quiet! Coolers, G.Skill Trident RAM, Logitech M525, Logitech G440, Razer Deathadder Elite

Products I hate:

Spoiler

Xperia Z3, XiaoMi 5c, Radeon GPUs, Razer Audio Products, any bloatwares

Companies I absolutely adore: (and hope it stays that way)

Spoiler

be quiet! - sent me AM4 mounting for my DRP3 even though it's way past the timeframe stated, no questions asked

Corsair - very good RMA experience, absolutely recommend

Companies I hate:

Spoiler

Nvidia, Intel, Apple, TMT (Thundermatch, a retailer)

Personal Blacklisted Companies:

Spoiler

Acer: shit tier quality products, shit tier customer service thus far, they "tried" to solve my issue but they arent really doing anything but delaying and delaying. (on-going case since July)

Gigabyte: horrible customer service (gigabyte had literally 0 customer service, asked me to go to retailer with NO WAY to email them about a question) but at least they fixed my shit in ONE MONTH (would probably take me 1 hour to fix if they let me email them)

XiaoMi Phones: built like a tank but the software is buggy as all hell

Seagate HDD: had too many dead seagate drives

Kingston SSD: 300V controller swap thingy

Razer (except their mouse)

Remember, just because I had good/bad experiences with these companies/product, doesn't mean you will have similar experiences too. I would still recommend these products if they made sense for your needs, but I'll add a disclaimer of my experience if it's relevant. Feel free to DM me asking why they are where they are.

Haha, I thought it would be a gimmick really and just an expensive branded chair. But they actually do feel really comfortable to sit in.

The only down side though is the hard frame on the tip so sucks if you cross your legs. Still, i'm very happy :)

Not really a purchase, but a fun find nontheless.

It's a PSP-2001.

Story:
My dad bought it and a few games for it, including Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy. That's what was in there when I found it, and that's what I played.

Until...

We lost its charger.

For 7 years.

I found another one online for 5 bucks and bought it, worked perfectly, except...

The game wouldn't load.

Oh sure, it would load, but as soon as the PSP logo flashed on screen, it would go black and nothing would happen

For a while, I thought it was the optical drive. It would make this screech/scream sound, and it didn't sound great, so I thought it might be that. I looked into replacing it by myself.

I then found a few other games and decided to try those. Those worked fine, so I knew it wasn't that.

I looked at the back of the disc, and immediately knew the problem.

It was so fingerprinty (a few scratches, but mostly fingerprints) I was amazed it read it at all.

So I took it out of the case, cleaned it, stuck it back in, worked fine*.

Here. Pictures.

Spoiler

*The optical drive still screeches/screams. This makes new areas load more slowly.

Whoa, new page!

Uhm, you do know that EVERY PSP does that because of the rather loud laser movement? It is really loud, yeah, my "PSP Street" (the newer one without the removable battery, WiFi and the second speaker) isn't any better and neither was my PSP 3004 Slim and Lite before that.
