I've got some new toys!

I shall finally be rid of the horrible thing that is the SpinQ.

I have - and I am not kidding about this - a scar from it.

Stabbed under my fingernail.

When I used to have an iPhone, I remember buying those tough braided Aukey cables with Kevlar. They lasted just as long as the flimsy dollar store cables. The Apple cables were probably the best, but I don't care anymore. I switched to Android to save $$$.

I mean, technically I bought gas for my car after work this afternoon, but who really wants to see a receipt of that?  So I submit my most recent purchase of any real significance.  Here's hoping that wall mount can handle the monitor...

These hold a special place in my heart.

My grandpa always had them when I went to his house on Saturdays, and he stopped getting them once I was 5.

I got some today.

Was it just mesh?

I've never seen a case with a mesh top panel that DIDN'T come with some kind of solid cover.

Also got a desktop stand made for smartphones. I actually got it mainly so I can position the phones when taking photos of them, but they are handy when I just want to put them on something.

Yeah, it was a magnetic mesh filter. The CM NR600 doesn't come with a solid cover if you don't plan to use the top fan mounts.

Failed to post many times until i switched to ram slot 2 and 4 instead of 1 and 3 hopefully it stays stable im bit worried about updating bios now scared it may not post again, did't have to revert back to a lower bios.

Have you read your motherboard manual ? ... it's probably stated that you should put them in slot 2 and 4 when you are using only 2 stick

Been running previous set in slot 1 and 3 im not the kind that will read a manual to assemble my PC anymore these days, i did read somewhere tho while googling that slot 2 and 4 is better so i tryit that and it worked, first with one stick then with two sticks

reading that kind of information from the manual and also which port is disabled when you fill up you nvme slots is things that are quite useful to know and that can change from one manufacturer to the other.  You clearly know your way around pc but it's not something that you can know just by looking at a motherboard, therefore the manual becomes useful ... if you hadn't thought about trying them in slot 2 and 4 you could have thought the kit was bad and returned it ... someone less knowledgeable than you would probably have done that.  anyway it's a really nice set of ram you got there ... you have really good taste ... I have the same it 😉

Nice condition on that refurbished laptop. I'm also after a (cheap) refurbished or secondhand laptop right now.

By the way, I believe you also have a Lacie Porsche Design external hdd there. I really like them! Too bad they're not sold anymore.
