Took the first steps towards a custom mechanical keyboard. These looked like a really good deal.

Ordered some more LEGOs but this time online to spend some VIP points on some freebies. Only wish I can get them at the LEGO store instead of only online.

PCIe to 5.25" front bay adapter.

The measurements are a bit off (too narrow) but I have plenty of filler material.

WIN_20210309_11_50_02_Pro.jpg

Well, turns out it's useless!
5.25" front bays are actually 5.75" inches wide.

Meaning that the PCIe card I wanted to mount doesn't fit.
Thankfully my Intro to Engineering Design (to avoid confusion) is quite nice and is reprinting it for me 🙂

File Cabinet!

"Ashford File Cabinet" for $139.99 (w/Free Shipping)!

Pretty sweet deal, IMO, it usually retails for $300 - $350? 662101731173203968.gif?v=1

Hoshī + UPS + File Cabinet

Nice and compartmentalized. 😘👌

Makes a difference, having the PC and UPS sit at the edge of a long table versus having them on a separate level.

Replaced my POS epson workforce printer with a Canon TS0560, besides the no duplex adr I've been much happier with the Canon

Nice, I also still need 32GB RAM. Only had 16GB since the beginning of this year, but I want to upgrade already. Might go for generic too if I can't find a nice set of RGB ones.

i went for generic because it's like $75 diff for 3200 vs 2666 '-'

i know i won't need the speed because it's for my bedside desktop lol

my main desktop will prob wait on DDR5 before i splurge on more RAM, 16gb really isnt enough these days x-x (blame minecraft)

I know, the price differences are crazy right now. If I go generic I prefer not to go heatsinkless, but at least from a known brand.

Personally I also don't want to splurge too much anymore on RAM, but other upgrades instead. Just waiting for 32GB RAM of any kind to be had for around the $100 range again.
