I got myself a new keyboard and some fans for my case.

The wireless Dell keyboard in my home studio decided to conk out yesterday. It had 15 years of trusty service. Might give it a worthy viking funeral. 

I decided to move my Ducky keyboard down there and buy something new for the office. Not gonna lie, the keyboard market is fucking confusing these days, so I just pulled the trigger on something that seemed to fit my criteria. Might switch the keyboards again, after I figure which one is the best one to type on. 

 

I got the fans, as I'm really tired of the noise the ones in my case makes. Now I'll have all Noctua all the way around. 

 

 

I also got some German litterature to keep myself occupied during our 11th month of lockdown:

 

 

Also, I do realize my deskmat really needs to go in the washer.

I got myself this one some time ago, cheapo crappy model but it's the one I had as a kid after buying one used for $20 or so in a thrift shop, so nostalgia...

Unfortunately it probably needs a full recap and I haven't found the motivation so far

I got a pair of Grado GS1000e headphones.

 

So far so good. They don't really sound like the Grado headphones I've tried in the past, as these are really mid-focused. Their soundstage is also very impressive.

I think that's part of the point. For some reason, Grado haven't changed their headphone design in almost 30 years. From the cheapest to the most expensive, they're all designed the same. 

I guess they're really going for that retro feeling.

Yes I saw CBS was having issues with their service and it crashed a few times. It worked well for us no crashes however we were on a 10min delay so I had to be careful.  My brother was texting me about plays that hadn't happened yet...

Bought whole house water filters this weekend, installed them today, and turns out the one with a head valve is leaking !!!

 

It's a very small leak (less than 500ml in 3 hours), but still, it's annoying AF !

 

Contacted their customer service, we'll see.
