Got this Asus 10gbit Switch and stupidly enough this incompatible 5gbit USB NIC. 

 

I'll have to get another switch sometime later then.... 

 

 

 

Anyways, for 2021 my goal is to donate 10-20% of my "luxury" purchases to some kind of charity. For me luxury is anything that I didn't actually need, like this 10gbit hardware. So this is already about 15-30€ for charity right here, depending on the percentage I chose in the end. 

Let's hope I'm not buying another watch this year lmao. (and I know I will grrr)

Got a iPhone 12 Pro as my daily driver. Project fi had a deal and with trade in I’m getting 750 in credit so I won’t have to pay off the phone till the next 8 months. Using the s21 ultra as a small tablet to watch movies and shows on at my desk. Got the Apple Watch 6 with service for when I go hiking/working out when the weather gets warmer out. Also good if I’m out and my phone battery dies I can still text/call people. So far I like both phone OS and eco systems as well as my pc and my MacBook. If it’s possible to have both, both platforms have lots of positives over the other.

I just hope when I upgrade to an LG Blu-Ray drive that it's as dead reliable as my two ASUS DVD-RW drives that are almost 10 years old at this point. Absolutely love these things, especially the slightly older one which is, ironically, a bit quieter.

Understandable. For me it was 10 bucks a month for the service. In the end my bill is around 80 a month for 4gb of premium data then it’s 3g unlimited. I usually only use a few gigs of data a month so it’s not a big deal for me.

SATA power splitter for my RGB fan mod.

I'm going to be taking the 12v line to power the fan, and the 5v line for the LEDs.

I would have used the 3.3v line, but the adapter didn't have the wire for it (though the eBay listing picture did).

That that I mind or anything - I probably would have ended up with the 5v line anyway, but it would have been nice to have.

I'm going to be chopping off one of the female connectors so it can act as a passthrough, but it probably won't.

On Tuesday, I got put on medication because of my acne not responding to other treatments as well, its Amnesteem (isotretinoin).

Just sucks, all over my face (mainly deep cysts type) and on my shoulders...but this is such a powerful drug and well regulated (at least in the US) that I have to go back to the dermatologist every month in order to get a new prescription and get blood work...for the next 6 months!

According to the dermatologist, every patient she has ever put this drug on clears up the acne extremely well. I've read online that it can "permanently" get rid of acne. Main reasons for the tight regulations are the drug is known to cause severe birth defects (At least I'm single!!).

 

Also, you can be sensitive to sunlight easily and get sunburn quickly.
