Ah, so now you have one console that you use and an additional dust catcher ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Maybe you'll someday need the second one. Still a dick move of the seller.

Hey, the seller's loss is that OP's gain lmfao

Some goodies to upgrade my Linux test driver system...the board is an Asus TUF B450M Plus Gaming that had a Athlon 3000G and 16Gb of some craptacular DDR4 in it...time to give the rig a shot in the arm and if I want...dual boot Win10 and have enough power to maybe run a game for a visitor or something. I know it's not the most powerful stuff but hell...a 3400G ain't too bad of a APU!

True..most of the systems I've done lately for either myself or others have used LPX in them, rock solid reliable and performs as advertised...every time. The stuff coming out of the mobo...doesn't even have labels to tell what brand it is...and no heatspreaders!

Yup!  Bugout 535.  The green, in person, looks amazing.  I usually go for desert tan but went green this time.

The blade is CPM-S30V.  The blade I lost was a Kershaw blade, ha ha.  It served we well for 6 years.

honestly the display isn't as good as I thought it would be

Compromises compromises

Honestly the 1000$ Pro display XDR stand looks like a good deal compared to the 200$ VESA mount

200$ for a little shitty piece of Aluminium that’s insane not the Wheels

After 9 years together my boyfriend and I decided -while in the middle of finalising the purchase of our first house- it was time to get rings. We got matching rings made from Irish commemorative silver coins (we are Irish).

I Got several eaglemoss Star Trek ships and Badges to add to my nerdy office area, also thought I'd indulge my nostalgia and get some Yu-Gi-Oh tins.

When I was going to buy the VESA + $150 arm, thought I might as well go all the way. Feels more like $500 stand, but there's nothing quite like it.

I'm slowly, but surely, becoming the pretentious, pseudo-intellectual bourgeois motherfucker I always feared I'd become:

IMG_20200916_133145__01.thumb.jpg.da75d54e5151c62b81e1d704a2bb87fc.jpg

I've gotten a lot more reading done recently, so more books were needed.

From left to right:

Gödel, Escher, Bach by Douglas Hofstadter.

The Open Society and its Enemies by Karl Popper.

Practical Ethics by Peter Singer.

Hyperobjects by Timothy Morton.

War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy.

Gravity's Rainbow by Thomas Pynchon.

Selected Works by Marcus Tullius Cicero.

Iron In the Soul by Jean-Paul Sartre.

One-Dimensional Man by Herbert Marcuse.

Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson.

Playing the Whore by Melissa Grant.

Fanged Noumena by Nick Land.

Everything from Russian melodrama over Frankfurt School marxist theory to the father of the Alt-Right.

It's exactly the books to buy, never read and then impress your friends by having them on your bookshelf.
