Show off your latest purchases

I recently downsized from ATX to Mini ITX, which involved buying a new motherboard, case, PSU, fans, etc.

Alongside my new purchase, I guess some Newegg employee decided to include a free 3600 and 1660 Super... thank you kind sir / ma'am!

Fans have been rattling. So I got some replacements. Couldn't find any good pwm fans that weren't either rgb or just stupidly expensive. So I'll just make them white

I guess Noctuas were too expensive for you then.

You can take a look at all of the Tech that I own and have owned over the years in my About Me section and on my Profile.

24x unused noctua ippc-2000 a14s. i have no idea what i'm going to do with this much powah lol

1073717507_IMG_05351.thumb.JPG.446cac82e7426b39f663865267e95111.JPG

got em for just under 10 bucks apiece. they were rewired so i've already removed the weird hirose that was on each lead, and will be crimping the original connectors on. a handful will be going into my first real build! but it's black/white themed, and unfortunately those little white pads will cost as much as the fans :(

topics i need help on:

Spoiler

my "oops i bought intel right before zen 3 releases" build

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 (placeholder)

GPU: Gigabyte 980ti Xtreme (also placeholder), deshroud w/ generic 1200rpm 120mm fans x2, stock bios 130% power, no voltage offset: +70 core +400 mem

Memory: 2x16gb GSkill Trident Z RGB 3600C16, 14-15-30-288@1.45v

Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix X570-E Gaming

Cooler: Noctua NH-D15S w/ white chromax bling
OS Drive: Samsung PM981 1tb (OEM 970 Evo)

Storage Drive: XPG SX8200 Pro 2tb

Backup Storage: Seagate Barracuda Compute 4TB

PSU: Seasonic Prime Ultra Titanium 750W w/ black/white Cablemod extensions
Case: Fractal Design Meshify C Dark (to be replaced with a good case shortly)

basically everything was bought used off of reddit or here, only new component was the case. absolutely nutty deals for some of these parts, ill have to tally it all up once it's "done" :D

And after three unsuccessful attempts, the entertainment/electronics store finally had it, after literally no store in the chain had it available in a 50km radius for multiple weeks, even being unable to deliver it from anywhere. I could've bought the DVD the last two times because they had that in stock, but considering the fact that I own the first 5 seasons as Blu-ray, why buy the DVD? Who buys DVDs anyway?

The show is pretty good

Time to get a replacement!

Too scared to use this for now. Back in the box ya go. Also I might order a Mac Pro 7,1 if my MBP 16 doesn't hold up well in Logic Pro X

It's more a hassle than it's worth sometimes, although i usually mow 22 acres and my tractor is from the 50's without a cab (or suspension)

Yoinked a new engine air filter for my car earlier today. Don't really have a picture that I wanna show right now but I have an older one I like.

Fpsxe.png

Going to get a rubber gasket replaced for the intake soon enough as there's a hole in it, too. It'll cost money but it'll also keep my car on the road.

Check out my guide on how to scan cover art here!

Make them legal in all 50 states and I'd pay a $400 tax stamp.
