Got some safety googles since I do a lot of spray painting in my business. Don't want to get paint on my glasses or in my eyes. Also so I don't lose an eye from a cop's rubber bullet while at a protest.

First, I despise spending money on beautician/hairstyling things. I care about my appearance only to the extent of being presentable in public. Long hair is long, however, and its thickness and frizziness is starting to make my head look like a broom.

 

Pleasantly surprised by the product after using it this morning. Heats up quick, and incredibly easy to use for newby scrubs like me who don't care about beauty talk and tips. Takes a while to cool down, though.

Kinda close, but nah. Just an electric hair straightener.

 

Technically you could use it with wet hair, but results will kinda suck. Way better if hair is washed, dried, and combed (to detangle it first), then slowly straightened by sifting a few locks of hair at a time through the electric straightener.

 

I want to grumble at how it adds a few more minutes to my morning routine, but I really can't complain about the results.
