Also I used to have have the mini version

Also pro tip, don't use the washers. Raises the PCB too high to enable proper contact.

The app EQ is okay, but non of the presets really sounded any better than leaving it off. It's probably just going to be question of using the Sonys more. They sound great, they're just different from what I'm used to. I might dick around with the EQ at a later point, though.

 

ANC is a must for portable use in 2020. The problem with the Momentum is, that the ANC introduced a lot of noise, ironically.

I see. I do enjoy that each headphone will have its own sound.

I bet it's doing you really well still. It still has pretty much everything the current bodies have except Bluetooth and a touchscreen (along with the obvious sensor changes but I wouldn't call it a slouch). I'll probably be using mine for a long, long time. It's an upgrade from a Canon T2i.

Yeah. Would love the 4th gen but since 61MP is ludicrous I'd rather want an A7M4 "not R" with around the same resolution than the 7RM2 but with the new sensor tech and the interface improvements... But then again I don't do nearly as much photography as when I bought the 7R2 right when it came out 5 years ago anymore, so it's still more than good enough for my uses and the few times I still take it out at the moment.

 

I actually have an RX10M3 that I made the "mistake" of buying, since I got it the 7R2 didn't come out of the cupboard for anything but the "real" occasions anymore

Yeah, understandable. It was much easier for me to justify, being used, 5 years later. I don't need anything more, and honestly could have used a 5D Mark II and been more than fine, but kinda just tried to go all the way with a body and now I can invest in lenses and a Canon mount adapter.

The speed booster is no good with an A7RII, it's only for APS-C cameras. The 2nd is fine though, have one too.

The only Nikon mount lenses I will ever use are full manual lenses, so a $10 dummy adapter is perfectly adequate for my use, lol. For anything else, all I ever see good is Metabones, but I'm far from an expert on the subject.
