What wood are on those? Looks quite nice. Mine are shedua I think.

According to the seller mine are Shedua as well.

I was actually looking for a pair in either Shedua or bamboo, since those are much less prone to cracking in the long run.

Mine are actually bamboo. Couldn't remember the difference.

I've had my pair for 4 years (or around 4 years) and the wood is great. That pair you've got look excellent. Was the suspension headband something the seller bought and installed separately? I have the stock headband and it's ok. Does get uncomfortable after a bit though.

I think the suspension headband came with the headphones. Ever since Audeze released the LCD-2 Classic in 2018, the headband has been standard on the regular LCD-2.

The updated headband was actually something I was looking for, as well. The original headband was a bit too uncomfortable on me. When a pair of headphones are as heavy as the LCD-2, they really need to be comfortable in the longer run.

New battery terminals.

†

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
        In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
        In Flanders fields.

Cry havoc and let slip the Togs of war.  (Signature V3)

No, I am not moving to the dark side of "cables matter" and "these resonators helped my soundstage immensely, but my power cords need upgrading, then only cost 5k!"

Just genuinely interested if they even make a difference, gonna A/B test in listening, and make some measurements. I'm 99.99% sure they make 0 difference, but they were quite cheap. Cheapest I could find on my usual website.

Probably going to keep them even if they make no difference, just to complete the look, as most of my gear is raised up on isolated stands.

Main speaker setup is now;

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)

I have always just been the mechanic that torqued bolts on feel for my bikes, but this time around I actually invested in a torque wrench for the new bike. I am also making the switch back to clipless pedals, instead of flats. I have ridden Shimano's SPD clipless system for many years when I was younger, but I don't like it anymore so I hope that I like the crank brothers system, since I am switching back to clipless a fresh pair of clipless shoes are needed too , just so happened that the 5.10 Hellcats were on sale and I got extra discount because I am a student:D

Shot this "Deal" just now.

It's the Lian Li TU100 aka "The Lunchbox" Case.

It's really just a tiny bit larger than an ITX board itself.

Only reason I bought it was to revive my old i7 2600K and maybe take it with me now end then once it's ready. Planning to put a H60 in there to cool it and probably some next Gen low powered GPU like a 1650 Successor.

I just purchased a Dell 22" 1080P monitor online, to replace my old Dell 22" 1080P monitor that I'm about to press F for, and hopefully not before the replacement gets here. I bought my current one in 2010 and it's been used for hours a day since then, so maybe this next one will last that long as well. 60hz, TN panel, really nothing fancy, but hopefully durable.

The new one is a E2220H to replace my old E2210H. I think the only difference is an LED backlight instead of a florescent one, haha. I’ve been real happy with the one I have though, it’s been around through several computer builds.

My Current Setup:

AMD Ryzen 5900X

Kingston HyperX Fury 3200mhz 2x16GB

MSI B450 Gaming Plus

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

EVGA RTX 3060 Ti XC

Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB

WD 5400RPM 2TB

EVGA G3 750W

Corsair Carbide 300R

I'm getting sick and tired of my current capture card dropping frames in fucking 480i content, so I decided to yoink myself a different card, a StarTech capture card that can do pretty much everything my current card can, plus VGA and DVI!

My LTT Merch finally arrived !

Again big thanks to @LeSnakk for ordering the stuff for me.

@Tech_Dreamer Will get those T-Shirts washed first and then I'll wear them & take a picture and then you can decide whether or not you like the designs.

I will do a big Merch hall later this year once I've got a Credit Card, that'll make things easier.

You can take a look at all of the Tech that I own and have owned over the years in my About Me section and on my Profile.

I'm Swiss and my Mother language is Swiss German of course, I speak the Aargauer dialect. If you want to watch a great video about Swiss German which explains the language and outlines the Basics, then click here.

If I could just play Videogames and consume Cool Content all day long for the rest of my life, then that would be sick.
